TED Talk

https://www.ted.com/talks/megan_washington_why_i_live_in_mortal_dread_of_public_speaking?language=en

Today in Language Arts we watched a TED Talk about a woman who overcame her speech impediment by singing. I found this to be exceptionally inspiring. I think it's an amazing thing when people find ways to get through obstacles in a creative way. I can somewhat relate to her with the whole overcoming an obstacle thing. When I was younger my parent's and I moved around a lot. I have been to seven different schools in total. It was really hard for me to make friends because I knew I was just going to lose them once we moved again. I was always the "new girl" and I was never really accepted. But now that we have an actual house, I am able to make and keep my friends. I even talk to one of my old friends named Cailey over the internet.

Blizzard

1/26/16

So, I didn't actually go out in the snow. I don't own snow pants or snow boots or anything along the lines of that so I couldn't have anyways. But I drank lots of coffee, I watched a Dying Light LP, and I invited Abby and Kat over. We basically played the sims and then we tried to do some gymnastic moves but horribly failed at most of them. I also drew a little bit a learned some new songs on my ukulele like Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men.

What I Would Do If I Won The Powerball

What I Would Do If I Won The Powerball

The first thing I would do is pay for college. I would rather not be in debt for pretty much the rest of my life, so I would use it for that first. I would still work a part time job because it would be nice to have a little bit of job experience before I got a real job. Then I would use it for a nice house and maybe a car. After that, I would donate all of the leftover money to charity.
